Ava for Moms · by Vobius Labs Inc.

Effective date: May 2026

Hi! We built Ava for Moms to make the day a little lighter — not to quietly hoover up your data. This page explains, in plain English, exactly what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. No legalese, no dark patterns.

Who we are

Ava for Moms is made by Vobius Labs Inc. You can reach a real human any time at Labs@vobius.com. Our website is avaformoms.com.

What Ava does

Ava is an AI personal assistant for mothers. You chat with her, and she helps you keep on top of your calendar, to-dos, grocery lists, and family scheduling — all in one place.

What we collect and store

Only what we need to make Ava useful for you:
  • Account: your email address, used to sign you in (via Supabase Auth or Sign in with Apple).
  • Profile: first name, work status, whether you handle school pickup, and the mental-load areas you tell Ava about.
  • Family members: names, relationships, and ages — whatever you add yourself.
  • Calendar events: title, date/time, and notes for anything you (or Ava) put on the calendar.
  • Tasks: title, notes, and priority level.
  • Grocery list items: name and quantity.
  • Chat messages: your full conversation history with Ava, so she can pick up where you left off.
  • AI memories: short key/value facts Ava learns about you from your chats (e.g. "prefers morning workouts").
  • Subscription status: your tier and billing status, synced from RevenueCat. We never see your card details.
  • Push notification tokens (optional) — only if you allow notifications, so we can send reminders in the future.

How we use your data

We use your data to run Ava: remember what you asked, sync your stuff across devices, personalize her replies, manage your subscription, and send the occasional service email (like a receipt or an important update).

We don't sell your data. We don't show you ads. We don't rent the email list to anyone.

Third-party services we rely on

Ava is built on a small number of trusted services. Here's exactly what each one does:
  • Supabase (supabase.com) — our backend database and authentication. All your Ava data is stored here, encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Anthropic (anthropic.com) — the AI that powers Ava's chat. When you message Ava, your messages and relevant conversation history are sent to Anthropic's Claude API so it can write a response. Their handling of that data is governed by Anthropic's API usage policies. We don't send them any personal information beyond what's in your conversation.
  • RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) — manages in-app subscriptions. They handle purchase receipts; we only receive your subscription status, never your payment details.
  • Apple — handles Sign in with Apple, App Store payments, and push notifications (APNs).

AI memories

To make Ava feel less like a stranger every morning, she saves short factual notes about you ("works Tuesdays and Thursdays", "kids are 4 and 7"). These are just little key/value snippets — not full conversations. If you'd rather Ava didn't remember anything, email Labs@vobius.com and we'll turn memory off and wipe what's already there.

Data retention

  • Your account and profile data is kept until you delete your account.
  • Conversation history is kept so Ava can stay helpful and consistent over time.
  • You can request deletion of all your data any time by emailing Labs@vobius.com. We'll honor it within 7 days.

Your rights

You can:
  • Access a copy of the data we have on you
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete your account and everything in it
  • Opt out of AI memory at any time
  • Export your data in a portable format

Just email Labs@vobius.com and we'll take care of it.

Children

Ava for Moms is built for adults. The app isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll remove the account right away.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest via Supabase. Sign in with Apple and Apple's platform protections add an extra layer. Access inside Vobius Labs is limited to the small number of people who genuinely need it to keep Ava running.

International users (GDPR & CCPA)

If you're in the EU/UK or California, you have additional rights — data portability, the right to object, the right to know what's stored about you. Email Labs@vobius.com to exercise any of them and we'll respond within the timelines required by your local law.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Small clarifications (typos, wording) we'll just update here.
